October 3 - In order to provide the execution of the above-mentioned Treaty, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan signed an Order on the content of the joint commission of Azerbaijan on Intergovernmental economical and scientific-technical cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

October 23-25 - The co-chairperson of the Commission, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Faiza Abulnaga was on trip in Baku in order to hold the I session of Joint Commission . In the result of Commission's activity, a number of documents - the protocol of the Joint Commission, the Treaty on mutual protection and agitation of investments between the Governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, agreements between Trade-Industry Chambers were signed.
